“We don’t want to feel better than other people – that’s arrogance.
And we don’t want to feel other people are better than us – that’s unworthiness.
The goal is to have a solid sense of self-worth that is not dependent on where we are or who we’re with.”
Sam Horn
Having a balanced sense of self-worth is important to our well-being and to how we relate to others. Don’t falsely increase your self-worth by tearing down those around you. Each person has value and much to offer, including your self. Value what you have to give to others and what they have to give as well then you will have a balanced and positive sense of self-worth.
